SpudV Translation Limited Test Privacy Notice
Privacy notice for the limited test service at fanyi.spudv.ai.
Notice version: 2026-10-26-v1
1. Operator and contact
Operating brand for this limited test: SpudV.AI.
Test contact: ai@spudv.com.
The operator has not independently verified delivery to this email address. The support message function in the H5 remains the primary recorded contact channel during this test. Support records include the supplied contact, message, order reference if any, and timestamps.
2. What the translation service collects
- Contact information: name if provided, email address or phone/messaging ID.
- Translation content: typed text, instructions, source and target languages, purpose and service level.
- Uploaded attachments: supported TXT, DOCX, text-based PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP images and short recordings.
- Extracted document text generated locally by the translation service.
- Orders, quotes, order-event logs, support messages and simulated payment records.
- Payment proof images if a customer submits one. Payment proofs are not sent to DeepSeek by this application.
- Service security information such as access logs, IP address, browser metadata, errors and timestamps.
3. AI processing and DeepSeek disclosure
The active external AI provider for text translation is the DeepSeek Open Platform API at https://api.deepseek.com, using the configured DeepSeek Flash or Pro model. Before a real AI task starts, the application can send the source text, extracted document text, translation instructions, language direction and purpose label to DeepSeek.
The application does not send the customer's name, email address, phone number, payment proof image or order token to DeepSeek in the translation request. Customers must not enter unnecessary personal data into translation text or free-form instructions.
Images and recordings currently use simulation or manual workflows and are not sent to DeepSeek by this version. If a real vision or speech provider is enabled later, this policy and the pre-upload notice must be updated first.
DeepSeek's official Privacy Policy, last updated February 10, 2026, identifies Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. and states that inputs, outputs, uploaded content and related information may be collected; may be used to improve, develop and train technology; may be retained for service, legal and business purposes; and may be processed or stored in the People's Republic of China. The official Open Platform Terms state that the developer operating a downstream application is responsible for informing end users and obtaining consent or another lawful basis.
Unless a signed provider arrangement proves otherwise, this draft assumes that DeepSeek may process data as described in its public policies. Whether SpudV has not verified an enterprise data-processing agreement, no-training setting or other contractual protection for the current DeepSeek account. Therefore this notice conservatively assumes that data may be processed as described in DeepSeek's public policies.
4. Purposes
Data is used to prepare quotes, create and operate orders, perform translation, run quality checks, deliver results, verify payments manually, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security, keep accounting and audit records, and comply with legal obligations. Any additional marketing use, model training by SpudV, or sale of personal data is not authorized by this draft.
5. Retention
- Unbound uploads and managed orphan files become eligible for cleanup after 3 days.
- The automatic cleanup timer is currently disabled. Until it is enabled after approval, files require controlled manual cleanup.
- Files attached to orders and payment proofs are retained indefinitely for now; a formal business and legal retention period is still required.
- Application logs are currently rotated daily and retained for 14 days unless operational or legal needs require longer retention.
- Deleted assets are audited without storing their contents in the audit log.
- DeepSeek retention is controlled by DeepSeek and its applicable account terms; the application cannot guarantee an immediate provider-side deletion.
6. Access, correction and deletion requests
A customer may submit an access, correction or deletion request through the support function while quoting the private order token or another agreed identifier. The operator must verify the request before disclosing or changing data, record the request and outcome, and explain any legal or accounting exception. Requests involving DeepSeek-held data may require escalation through DeepSeek's official privacy contact.
The limited test has no formal response-time guarantee. The operator will verify the request as reasonably necessary and respond on a best-effort basis. A formal response-time commitment is required before commercial use.
7. Unsupported and prohibited content
Do not upload identity documents, passports, immigration documents, payment credentials, passwords, private keys, health records, children's data, biometric data, unlawfully obtained content or material you do not have permission to process. DeepSeek's policy states that its services are not designed for sensitive personal data. The application currently blocks identity-purpose orders from real AI processing, but technical filtering cannot reliably detect every sensitive data type.
8. Security and international processing
The application uses private server storage, access-controlled orders, administrator authentication and CSRF protection, upload limits, storage quotas, rate limits and provider budget controls. No internet transmission is completely secure. AI processing may involve transfer to DeepSeek infrastructure outside the customer's country, as described in DeepSeek's policies.
9. Children
The service is not intended for children. Do not submit a child's personal data without an approved legal process and appropriate authorization.
10. Policy changes
The upload notice has a version identifier recorded with each new attachment and order. A material change requires a new version and renewed customer acceptance before further file uploads or order creation.
